Doggy Walk & Train
End the daily walk with a short training session!
Considering training but don't have the time for weekly classes and you don't want to send away your dog away for boot camp? As a healthy alternative, we have created the "Walk & Train" program. We will walk your dog for you, while working on leash management and do short bursts of training throughout the walk including commands like:
Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks). With time, additional commands can be requested. Rather than not enrolling your pup all together in training, try this innovative way to train your dog. Every Friday will include review with you (to happen at the end of the session/ walk) so that all training is clear, concise and transferable!

Basic Group Obedience Classes
Are you ready to unleash your dog's greatness!
If you are then let's get it started! This group training session will cover all the basics! You will also meet amazing like-minded dog people, with a support system this will give you the confidence to believe in your dog! Fun banter and good laughs make an excellent learning environment for you and your dog.
You will also learn the ability to teach your dog new things and maintaining control in public. Your dog will learn basic obedience commands like: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks), Distance training, Placement, Recall, and more! Basic Obedience will evolve into Advanced Obedience classes. Classes are currently meeting Once weekly with potential to increase. **Advanced Obedience consists of: *Off leash* Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks), Distance training, Recall, and more!
**Completion of Basic Obedience makes all participants eligible to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
On-Going Group Obedience Class
Always keep your dog's skills sharp with maintenance classes!
Congratulations on graduating from Advanced Obedience! Since you had so much fun during the group classes, graduating doesn't mean the fun is over! You have proven you can teach your dog anything!
So continue to come to the advanced classes to keep your skills sharp, while also learning fun new tricks!
Zoom Training Session

Long distance training session done virtually in the comfort of your own backyard.
It doesn't matter whether you live in the same city or across the country, Vega Pet dog training can be for you and your dog.

Dog Walking
Working long hours?
Whether it's a routine schedule or a new job, figuring out your dog's potty schedule is important. Nobody wants to come home to your pup having an accident in the house, that's why having a dog walker can be that extra care that puts your mind at ease! We are flexible and can work with your schedule! The Walk consists of a 30-45 minute session.
This includes a 30 minute walk + 10-15 minutes of engagement (playing with a toy, doing something your dog loves, cuddles, breakfast/snack/or dinner, or just hanging out so your dog isn't alone.) This ensures that your dog has physical exercise, as well as mental stimulation!
Private Training

Basic knowledge, if you have questions about equipment we can offer you our best recommendations as well as basic review in leash handling. Your dog will learn basic obedience commands like: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks), Distance training, Recall, and more!
In-home specifics upon request, includes: Threshold, Place, On your bed, reactivity, and more! Basic Obedience will evolve into Advanced Obedience. Sessions are weekly, or can be more often upon request and depending on availability.
**Advanced Obedience consists of: *Off leash* Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks), Distance training, Recall, and more!
**Completion of Basic Obedience makes all participants eligible to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
Advanced Group Obedience Classes
You knew you had the smartest dog in the world, so show them off!
This group training session will cover the advanced version of the commands you learned in Basic Obedience! You will be able to show off how smart your dog is while also meet amazing like-minded dog people. Fun banter and constant laughs make an excellent learning environment for you and your dog.
You will also learn the ability to teach your dog new things while demonstrating their control in public. Your dog will learn advanced obedience commands like: *Off leash* Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Wait (Automatic Stop at crosswalks), Distance training, Recall, and more flashy tricks! Classes are currently meeting Once weekly with the potential to increase. Graduation depends on each individual dog's speed of learning. Never feel rushed to be graded at the same pace as anyone else!

**Completion of Advanced Obedience makes all participants eligible to test for the AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGC-U) test.
Medical Desensitization Training
Desensitization Conditioning for common treatments in veterinary hospitals.
Whether it's Happy Visits for a new puppy or Bravery Training for a nervous pet, with 10+ years as a Registered Veterinary technician, we have developed special techniques in handling all dogs in clinical situations.
The goal is to encourage a positive non-painful relationship with you, your pet and the veterinary facility/staff. Using a fear free approach with your pet's mental health in mind. Sessions are short to 30 minutes max as this type of training can be frustrating, scary in some cases, and mentally fatiguing for pets.
